Vegetable products that are to be avoided:
  • regular tomato sauce and puree
  • spaghetti sauce
  • creamed, breaded, or deep-fat fried vegetables
  • vegetables in sauces
  • regular tomato
  • regular vegetable juices
Fruit
 
Fruit products that can be consumed:
  • fresh, unsweetened dried fruits
  • canned or frozen fruits packed in water, own juice or light syrup
  • all fruit juices (unsweetened)
Fruit products that are to be avoided:
  • canned or frozen fruits packed in heavy syrup
  • sweetened dried fruits
  • coconut
  • fried snack chips
