Q) Is calcium lost from teeth during pregnancy?

A) Calcium is not lost from the teeth during pregnancy. Calcium for the developing fetus is provided by the diet. If dietary intake of calcium is inadequate, then the body provides from the bones. An adequate intake of dairy products is the main source of calcium.
